SkyPilot Theatre's
"Children's
Theatre Outreach" Program
PETER
COTTONTAIL, JR. was the inaugural production by SkyPilot Theatre
Company's “Children
Theatre Outreach.” Our new charity-based program provides
theatre to children from shelters and other charities
free of charge. And with an understanding of the high cost
of raising children, we will also be doing performances open
to the public at
a very affordable cost.
To
provide young audiences with affordable and/or free access to
quality theatre focused on those who normally wouldn't have access
for reasons of budgetary constraints. It is our commitment to
choose performances that will further develop, stimulate creativity
and entertain using fun, positive productions. Thus, we plan
to create personal satisfaction and a rewarding experience for
our audience. We dedicate ourselves as a non-profit organization
to be a community outreach using SkyPilot Theatre as a means
to make an impact on others.
Our
goal is to provide free children's theatre for children from
local children's and family shelters and/or charities in Southern
California. We plan on performing two matinees on Saturdays and
Sundays during the run of the show: One will be free for shelters/charities
assisting children from impoverished environments who do not
have access to quality children's entertainment. Free concessions
will also be provided. The second will be will be an affordable
performance open to the general public.
